You or your beloved animal will most likely be deeply relaxed and breathe deeply then your own natural recovery abilities will work. Healing will keep occurring after the session and you will see it within a couple of days. Keep an eye on how you feel.

We offer 15 minute consultation on your first session followed by healing so that we can discuss more.
For humans, we will check your energy flow then work on body areas. 60-minute is good to start. If you have multiple areas need to work on, you might enjoy 90-minute.
For animals, usually 30-minute is good to start. If they are familiar with energy work, they will enjoy 60-minute.
We recommend having multiple sessions (e.g. weekly) than one long session.

If you are new to energy healing, we recommend to try at least twice for better energy flow and outcome.
Although Reiki healing is NOT medical treatment, we can compare the length or frequency of session to other medical appointments such as physical therapy, acupuncture, and doctor's check-up.
For acute issues, it is recommended to see more frequently, then taper out like physical therapy.
For chronic issues, weekly or bi-monthly for some time would be recommended for steady energy flow.
It is always nice to have follow up appointments like check up.

You are NOT hypnotized. You will most likely to feel deeply relaxed. Some breathe very deep and even snore. But they know what is happening.
Reiki is safe and gentle healing. If you have any concerns, we discuss at the beginning. Your comfort is very important.
-
You will be deeply relaxed, so take it easy after the session. Stay hydrated, avoid strenuous work or partying for the rest of the day. You might excrete unnecessary materials (e.g. body fluid, dead cells) more than usual, so it is very important to keep hydrated to avoid headaches.
Since Reiki is gentle energy, the result shows up slowly and gradually and you might not notice dramatical changes. See how you feel everyday as it comes in a few days.
-
Wear something comfortable, loose fit clothes like T-shirts and yoga pants. You will remain fully clothed and lie down on the treatment table under the blanket. Therefore, you might want to avoid bulky clothes.

Reiki healing is gentle, but since animals are such pure beings, we can see outcomes clearer than people. During the session, animals can half-close their eyes, yawn, stretch their legs and show they are relaxed..
After the session, animals might drink a lot of water, improve appetite, excretion, sleep, improve appearances (mood, facial expressions, coat, posture, and maneuver.) Then more change might happen over the course of time. Same as people, responds are different individually and healing will occur on their own pace.

Yes. Online/Distance sessions are effective especially for people who have experiences with energy work before. Some people say it works better than in-person sessions. Why? Although you might enjoy hands-on Reiki sessions, Reiki energy is not limited by physical space. Your comfort level is important to your energy flow. Thus, if you and your animals are more relaxed at home, online might work better. You do not always have to believe in Reiki, but you need to relax and decide to take healing sessions.
-
No. Although letting animals run around are not recommend, they do not need to sit still. You and your animals can be in the same room and relaxed. Then it is ok to walk around or sit or lie down freely during the session.

No, Reiki is not a religion. Reiki is universal life energy that is available to anyone. Therefore, Reiki healing is available for any one of us. However since Reiki healing can help physically, emotionally, mentally, and in a spiritual level, there are some people and organizations that are not thrilled about Reiki.
If you have questions and concerns, please contact us and see what your options are.

No. Reiki is complementary healing and is not a substitute for medical or veterinary treatment. It works well along with medical treatment and other treatment such as acupuncture, chiropractic, physical therapy, and more. Reiki is supporting people and animals' natural healing abilities. If you are injured and ill, seek medical treatment first, then seek Reiki sessions.
