What is Reiki Healing?

A Reiki practitioner connects to Reiki and resonates to the energy. With the practitioner, clients resonate to the energy and healing will occur as it is needed. The practitioner does not generate the energy, or have control how to heal or where to heal. The practitioner will work on the dissonance areas and act as energy conduit.

Human recipient lies down on the treatment table, remaining fully clothed. Practitioner checks the energy flow, then place their hands on body areas with feather touch or slightly off their body. Some people describe the feeling of receiving Reiki session like soaking in a warm bath, or standing in a beautiful field with breeze (meaning relaxing or refreshing.) Some people feel differently. Reiki is the energy and therefore, we do not need to be in the same geographical place. That is why we offer Online/Distance healing sessions.

There are many people practicing Reiki including in the medical field. The actual healing mechanism hasn't been fully clarified yet, but more and more research and papers about Reiki are being published. Science is catching up as Usui sensei hoped in his era.

Reiki is also called the energy of love and harmony. Healing can occur in harmonious ways. It might not help your immediate issue right away, instead multiple issues or issues around you are sorted out in orchestrated ways. With that said, the outcome of Reiki healing can be sometimes unpredictable.

Reiki healing is a complementary modality and does not replace any professional medical treatment. Please seek medical treatment first if you are ill or injured, then contact us for additional support.

What is Animal Reiki Healing

Our beloved animal family members teach us unconditional love. They are pure beings and because of that, they usually take Reiki healing very well. Most of them just take Reiki Healing when it is offered and if they need it. It is very simple.

A practitioner connects to Reiki and offers the healing. If the animal wants it, they take it. They can decide if they want to come closer or have direct-touch. Some sit or lie down closely, some lie down at the corner of the room. Some change positions during the session to get healing on a specific area. The practitioner respects animals wills and wishes and offer accordingly. They notify when they’ve had enough which is faster than humans.

You usually see animals are relaxed by their demeanors. Reiki healing can support their innate healing abilities and promote their overall well-being. Same as for humans, it can help relaxation, pain management, coping with anxiety and traumas, adjusting to new environments, and providing support for intensive or chronic medical treatments.

If your animals tend to be calmer and more relaxed at home, online sessions are also available. If you live near Montgomery, inquire about house call options. (Travel fees may apply.)
